Ingredients:
For Samosa/Singhara Chaat:
4-6 samosas or singharas (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup boiled chickpeas
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1/4 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons tamarind chutney
2 tablespoons mint chutney
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
Fresh cilantro leaves, chopped, for garnish
Sev (crispy chickpea flour noodles), for garnish
For Pudina (Mint) Chutney:
3 tablespoons pudina powder
2 tablespoons roasted cumin seeds
1 tablespoon amchur (dried mango) powder
1 teaspoon black salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
Instructions:
Prepare the Pudina (Mint) chutney:
In a blender or food processor, combine the mint powder, roasted cumin seeds, amchur powder, black salt, and black pepper powder.
Add 100 ml water and blend until you get a consistent chutney. Set aside.
Heat the samosas/singharas:
If using store-bought samosas/singharas, follow the heating instructions on the package.
If using homemade samosas, heat them in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 10-12 minutes or until they are crispy and heated through.
Assemble the Samosa/Singhara Chaat:
Place the heated samosas on a serving plate.
Using a fork or your hands, crumble the samosas into small pieces.
Top the crumbled samosas with boiled chickpeas, chopped onions, and chopped tomatoes.
Drizzle plain yogurt, tamarind chutney, and mint chutney over the samosas.
Sprinkle chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, and red chili powder (if using) on top.
Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and a generous amount of sev.
Sprinkle Pudina (Mint) Powder:
Just before serving, sprinkle a generous amount of Orgalive Pudina (Mint) Powder over the Samosa Chaat.
Serve:
Serve the Samosa/Singhara Chaat immediately as a delicious and flavorful appetizer or snack.
